This ministry is an expression of my husband's understanding of the
Bible at work. This understanding has come from over 35 years of
study, research and experiences. His travel to the Holy Land with
a Jewish scholar and historian as his guide, brought my husbands
education in Biblical History, Language, and Biblical Archeology to life
for him. Visiting the very places that he had learned about and having
the history explained to him from strictly a historical point of view stirred
in him the need to bring this understanding to others who might want to
know.
An electronics and computer engineer by trade, combined with his
extensive biblical education makes my husband a very complex
individual. Therefore, it is my job to bring his teachings down to my
level of understanding through questions and restating his ideas in
layman's words that will be more universally understood. If I do not
understand a statement on our site, he tends to rethink and reword his
statement to bring about a clearer understanding for all. My name does
not belong on the site since most of the work is Greg's, but he feels my
input though subtle contributions add greatly to his outreach.
Even my interest in the backyard bird feeder, which I started as
self-enjoyment evolved into our family interest. My enjoyment of the
birds inspired the line in "The Early Morning Quiet" The birds write
special tunes and perform them in the morning light. Gentle breezes
blow to carry their song to those who are out of sight. Even our dog
knows, the birds are welcome visitors to our yard.
