This ministry;
What it's all about, why we are here,
our goals, hopes and prayers.
About this ministry
First, let me say that it's not my desire to change your thinking,
but to cause you to think. We are a nondenominational group
that If in some small way can bring you closer to understanding God's word and why he took such great care to preserve and bring it to us, we will have accomplished what I believe is our task in his much greater plan.
In using me and my wife Jean and others like us to attain this goal, God has taken us (especially me) to places and halls of knowledge that most people, sadly only hear about and never
see. A great many people don't even know that they exist,
I have now spent over thirty five years studying scripture, biblical languages, and biblical archeology. It has brought my wife and I to a place in our Christian ethic and understanding
that is difficult to explain. To devote the time to do so would be counter productive and would probably influence your thinking, which is something I do not want to do. Let the ones who write the Bible Commentaries confuse the issues, I'd rather present the facts as best I can and let you decide.
This Web Site is structured around the book, and or books none of the early church fathers wanted in the bible in the first
place. One of these is Revelation. It was put in and taken out,
then put back as many as twenty times over a three hundred
year period, and is still controversial to this day.
Evangelical Christians argue that there are only 66 books in
the bible, and that the Canon is closed. Others say that the
Canon should not be closed because they are still finding
manuscripts dating back to 100 AD and before. This ministry
promotes neither of these views. What it does do is explore,
investigate, and review all of the information. After review and
creditable witness has be established, we will present these
works and others on the web for your review. You be the judge.
Note; creditable witness is when a manuscript is either attested to by its author, usually in other works by that same author, or by other recognized contemporary writers of the time, who refer to these manuscripts in their work.
This ministry is also dedicated to bringing people to a greater
understanding of the Scripture and does not promote any
particular theological concept or point of view. It does stress,
that in order to find the truth one must have a grasp of all
Biblical truths as they present themselves in scripture.
Lastly:
Our prayer is that you learn to fellowship with God. Walk with him as I and my wife have. He will share with you all of his grace and knowledge. But you must have an open mind and be willing to listen or you will not hear him when he speaks to
you.
